This was sanded back when dried, it will charge up during the day with UV sunlight and then glow when its dark, fantastic stuff! I finish with a hard wax oil this helps protect the table from hot pans, coffee cup rings, etc. I cleaned the etching out with a toothbrush and water and then backfilled with a glow in the dark powder mixed with a wood filling resin. I used glue, maybe I shouldn’t have and just left the first floating which would allow for seasonal expansion and contraction.
I used that to make the hidden screw holes to attach the top to the base. I bought a Kreg pocket screw kit which is a great piece of kit. Use plenty of glue and peg them in place using 9mm dwelling or whatever you have to hand. Make struts that fit inside your slots, smooth down the ends with a belt sander to get a good snug fit. Cut four legs and again with the router make two slots on each leg. Cut the wood for the top, arrange and use a router or biscuit jointer to help the top clamp together.
